And noted about the compost! I am searching for a grittier mix. Right now, I am using cactus soil mixed with perlite, 1:1, so the drainage hasn't been bad...but I think it could be better!

Hello!! I just adopted some cacti and I'm trying to save them. I've been researching next steps and I am hoping someone can confirm if I'm on the right track or give me advice.
