humidity problems strike again!

I moved my cuttings and clone mothers out to the farm, and now only keep a few cacti at home to keep me company.

I have found the rolly pollies living under terracotta pots that have been completely dry for weeks, so It seems they just like terra cotta.

Pill Bugs living under my pots

I have pill bugs, or rolly-pollies living under/inside my cacti pots.
are they harmful?

also,I've noticed some of my san pedro(growing in tall grass and weeds in the yard) have started to develop offsets only to be devoured before they even pop, leaving a little scar where the bud was growing.

i grafted the smallest one , and the new growth is a nice green color. They are definitely not dead. The others are a little sunburned where they were white, they are going to have to tough it out. My camera sucks for closeups, but you can kind of see the color http://i872.photobucket.com/albums/ab28...

I actually live in a dry Mediterranean zone, but we are having a crazy rain season this year(mini el Nino or something). Maybe 50 miles north of LA, California. They were really well calloused over, before i planted.

Should i cut them again?

they were in pots in the shade, planted with the callous underground. After i pulled them and noticed the blackness, i let them sit in the sun for a day and they dried up again. these are the best pics i have of the problem right now http://i872.photobucket.com/albums/ab283/cactussupply/DCFC0003-2.j...

my loph seedlings,

it's not my first rodeo, but i'm glad to my loph seeds germinating as well as some other seeds i recently planted. , i grew some lophophora last year, but due to circumstances they ended up in the dark for a few months and grew transparent, white, and weird at the top. Now i keep them in indirect li...

Blackish mold from near-disaster

I had some cuttings of opuntia, bridgesii, san pedro and peruvian torch in the dirt when a rainstorm hit unexpectedly. i pulled my cuttings, but they got a little damp and now most have (what appears to be)a black, spotty mold on the calloused cutting. It's been weeks, and they are still firm. defin...

it was written on the side of the pot, but that's probably what they meant. I have one peruvian torch graft that has taken, and the tip of a monstrose bridgesii that seems to have taken. 2 other seedlings failed. i haven't tried anymore yet. I didn't want to try my slower growing species until i fou...

torch seeds had lots of pieces of seed husk or something in there. treated the infected spots with diluted peroxide. Will peroxide damage the seedlings at all?
