Re: What is this please, and is it normal?

I agree, its a Euphorbia Obesa but not in great condition. As above, it is corking. I have a different sub species that has turned bark like lower down with age.

Please help and advise

Firstly, No camera is going to do these justice! On all of my ceramic pots (outside and rims especially) and in the dishes which they sit in there are 'gatherings' of seriously microscopic pests meandering around! I need to look very carefully to see them moving although individuals seem to move fas...

Gymnocalycium troubles

My Gymnocalycium Damsii has had four offspring from the parent plant since I obtained it 2 years ago. Besides a little sunburn it has been well and has always been a gorgeous red colour. It has done little growing in that time and over the last 2 weeks I have removed x2 offspring as the base of each...

white spots on lampranthus leaves? advice please

I recently noticed white spots occurring on the leaves of a lampranthus (or drosanthemum). I originally plucked off the offending leaves but the problem has reoccurred en masse. Any advice as to what it is and how best to deal with it. I have used Provado insecticide but this has had no effect.

Info Please, no images available

I have recently spotted an outdoor Succulent (UK) which has flowers not unlike Lampranthus from yellow and cream to vivid pink/white variagated. Most notably it has a sticky bead residue all over it, from its red stem to its slender leaves to its flower stems. What might it be? Sorry no images but I...

rebutia not on list

I have a flowering rebutia, not on the main index. How do I post it or what is Daiv's email address? I feel it would benefit the list.
Yhanks, Nick
