Re: What was your first cactus ever?

The first cactus I got was a Carnegia gigantea. It was given to me by a friend, and now 3 years later, I have around 40 different plants :D .

#7. Cereus peruvianus monstrosus
#8. Looks like a Ferocactus that is either crested or starting 2 heads.

Re: pins&needles13 2015

Hello all,

After a year of waiting, my Epithelantha micromeris flowered :D . I know my micromeris was flowering size when I got it from C and D plants in February 2014, because it had a fruit on it when it came. Enjoy!

Re: Another rot-related question

I'm not sure that's rot but I don't like how it looks. If you look above the yellowing the skin is slightly discolored.

Re: Spider Mites?

I don't think that they are predatory mites. The damage appeared in a week from last Sunday. I 'm pretty sure it's spider mites.

I have a systemic insecticide. Would that kill red spider mites?

I looked it over and I saw red dots a little bigger than the end of a needle moving around.

Spider Mites?

I go into my greenhouse and I find my Frailea grahliana with what looks like mite damage. If this is mites could anyone recommend a good miticide?
