Re: Mildly Sunburned Echeveria & Kalanchoe
The less affected kalanchoe leaves & the echeveria with slight wrinkling appear to be improving. I went ahead & did the necessary surgery on the scorched echeveria & the more affected kalanchoe leaves. However, I would still like to know if there are any stages of sunburn on echeveria &a...

Mildly Sunburned Echeveria & Kalanchoe
I thought a couple of my echeverias & kalanchoes were acclimated already, but they ended up getting a little sunburned. There is mild discoloration on a couple spots on one, that I know are likely permanent until it puts on new growth. The other has slight wrinkling on the leaves, & the kala...

More Lithops Trouble
There has been a sudden color shift of one side of one of them, with no evidence of decay or other ailments. The top of the darker, discolored side, is faded. I couldn't find any other conclusive information on this. I couldn't get the photo to come out very well, but the normal color scheme is pink...

Re: Moderate Wrinkling on Lithops
I'm still having a problem with this, so I now suspect its a soil problem also.

Re: Moderate Wrinkling on Lithops
Yes, I was giving them a small amount, due to finding out how sensitive to over-watering they seem. I don't recall ever seeing anything specifically stating that you have to wait until they get wrinkled, but it makes sense. Most things I read were either vague or, I now know, a little overzealous re...

Re: Gumbi cactus sick
Yep, that's definitely etiolation(weak growth from low light). It can be caused by other things, but its typically caused by insufficient light.

Moderate Wrinkling on Lithops
My otherwise healthy looking Lithops abruptly has moderate wrinkling on their sides. They were watered relatively recently, albeit very little, since they were plump when they were purchased & are very sensitive to over-watering, from what I gather. They didn't do it until after they were moved ...

Re: Does this look okay?
I forgot to mention, I once had a rose quartz cactus that had red spider mites that scarred it from the base up. Also, the only reason I mentioned the idea that it may be corking, is because I have seen photos of old cacti with corking relatively far up the stems. As I said, I don't know how far nor...

Potential Slowed Growth & Blooming
I noticed bloom sprouts & new growth on some of my plants appears to have slowed down a little, despite doing nothing to cause it. Unless the time really flew, I could have sworn the blooms & new growth came a little faster, & I know for sure that some blooms had noticeable progress with...

Re: Does this look okay?
How old are those? The discoloration on the stems resembles corking, but I don't know if it naturally goes that far up the stem on that species. Are those golden ball cacti? From what little I can see on the tops, that part appears healthy, & if the discoloration on the stems is corking, then it...

Re: Three young cactus or succulents in one planter
Yes, I'm mindful of that, even to the point where, in the past, I have nearly mistook corking for decay. Thanks

Re: Three young cactus or succulents in one planter
In that case, they should be fine. If any of them appear to be getting stunted prior to repotting time, I will remove them from the pot they share with the more vigorous plant & repot them. Yeah, I'm already clued in about the mentioned factors. The pot size is not huge, just large enough to giv...

Three young cactus or succulents in one planter
I know you generally don't want to pot a plant in a planter that is too large for the root ball, & why, but what about three, roughly three inch tall, young plants in a planter just large enough to where they have roughly an inch or 2 between the plants? They will need to eventually be replanted...

Re: Accidentally removed a dying leaf a little too early
Again, I thought so, because as you stated, the leaf node is adapted for that. Thanks
