It's a riphsalis I seen one at Walmart . It's a tropical cactus so it needs more water than the usual cacti . Partially shaded can take full sun if adapted. Pretty easy growers if you tell me

He does have a nice garden! I have many species I've researchec and can't wait to grow outside , Iam trying to grow Agave now

This haworthia venusima tessalata has survived -4 degrees ferenheit! As the aloe in same pot died. I may plant some this year outside and see how they go with ofcourse over head protection with styrofoam cones.

why not make two squares and in the middle of the squares plant cacti and succulents. and on the outside of the square grow grass and dudleyas, maybe a sago and bird of paradise.

hi George. this year our winter is very light, like a lot of ssunlight! im also amazed about our winter this year too. we barely had one sunny days and ontop of that in the green house its like 80f with good sunlight and artificial light, I don't think they will elongate though or produce weak pads,...

George my opuntia has rooted now! I have more in trying to root, the ones are rooting are all hardy to my zone 6 or 7. I had them placed near a heater and good light source
