They are the same plant.
Hildewintera is the old name... Unless something has changed since the last time I looked. :roll:

I believe that is Cylindropuntia fulgida v. mammillata f. monstrosa, or Boxing Glove Cholla.

Sue, your plant looks like echinocereus scheeri.
Dave's plant looks like it could be the same, or something along those lines, But I'd wait for flowers.

Well, of coarse I missed it! flowers only open fully for maybe 8 hours? #-o
Here it was late afternoon the 26.

Haggeocereus is it and I think versicolor v. aureispinus is a good bet.

You will need to see flowers before confirming but it looks like rhipsalis baccifera ssp horrida.

If you have a lot of plants to water, I highly recommend using a large plastic resivoir (I use a trash can) and an electric water pump ( sump pump) with a hose attachment, all of which can be found either at the big home improvement stores or on line. I have always thought haageocereus and if i remember correctly, Tristan, you believed it to be H versicolor the last time you visited. But I didn't want to really commit until I saw the flowers.
