Re: Help to id this parodia/notocactus
Parodia werneri is a solitary plant. Your plant is obviously offsetting and the amber spines are characteristic of notocactus ottonis

Re: Help to id this parodia/notocactus
I agree with this ID. One of my ottonis forms has many ribs like this. Looks like it has many offsets too which also supports this ID

Re: Grafting on Opuntia, also polaskia chichipe
Opuntia pads, ficus indica specially, have been great for me. A bit awkward to graft on but grows extremely fast. Polaskia is also a good stock since it's related to myrtillocactus

Re: Few cacti in need of ID help
I'm gonna chime in on #1 and say it's more likely to be lophocereus schottii. Could also be a myrtillo but it would have to be bigger to know for sure. 2 is possibly gymnocalycium schickendantzii. Your id is right for 3. I want to say mammillaria celsiana for 4 but could be something else.

Re: Help with Identification
1. Gymnocalycium, maybe horridispinum. Not sure which
2. Myrtillocactus schenckii or hybrid with polaskia
3. Melocactus warasii
4. Mammillaria karwinskiana
5. Gymnocalycium pflanzii
6. Mammillaria zeilmanniana
7. Echinopsis/trichocereus. Could use more light

Re: Cactus ID?
What is that potting media? It looks like a clay-loam to me While i maintain a highly gritty mix, all the local growers grow their cacti in very heavy clay soil. Sometimes they mix peat in. To be honest, their plants look much better than mine but i like hard grown plants. I triend a mix that has a...

Re: Photos from my greenhouse
Here's a photo i took back in summer from the full sun area: IMG_0166-768x1024.jpg On a side note, we've had storms before at temperatures hit 4 degrees before at night with no problems. This time it's gonna hit 1-2 on a clear night which means it's almost definitely gonna freeze. I better light sok...

Re: Help with identification
First i was almost sure it's euphorbia handiensis but the small triangles at the rib bases (zoom in to see) point to euphorbia echinus
