This is another crispa (Kattermann)species.
ImageE. crispa ssp. atroviridis v. huascensis.
With short spines and 1 central spine up to 15 mm long. Body is described as subglobular.

Fred Kattermann writes in his monograph on Eriosyce on p. 97 that Echinocactus occultus(Phillipi) may be an older name for Eriosyce heinrichiana.

I`m new to the forum. You seem to like eriosyce (as I do). Did you already see the new pictures by Juan Acosta and Florencia Signoret on cactus horridus, their flick album ? They show their grafted plants in their greenhouse. You might like that too. :D

The first one looks like Eriosyce heinrichiana The second one could be pygmaea (or calderana as RM Ferryman would say).
