Tinsel, I'm so glad you posted yours. I love those flowers. I once had a very old one but ants got inside of it and it finally died. I still have some in the range of orange to come. Thanks for the name, I'm going to check at the epric website if I find it. In september, in Belgium, I got a small cu...

Schlumbergera festival

Since Schlumbergera is the plant of the month, I feel it's the right time to show you some of mines. I don't know their real name except for the two last pictures : Schlumbergera Dark Eva. http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b44/dominique91/Schredandwhite.jpg http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b44/domi...

I love these plants. I have several and I am so grateful to them for their beautiful flowers at a time most of the other plants are asleep.

Hello, Hablu,
There are some pictures of crassula nudicaulis var. Platyphylla here :

But it's not your plant.
Your plant reminds me of lanuginosa var pachystemon but I neither think it's yours.

It's quite easy to find here. I love this plant. I got two : rowleyanus (as round as green peas) and herreianus (a little bigger and not as round). Both have nice scented flowers at winter time (they smell like carnation)

I'm in charge of a "bank" seeds for a French forum. Here, the atmosphere is not dry, especially at winter. Before putting the seeds in paper envelopes, I make sure that the seeds are well dried. Then I store them in a plastic box at the bottom of my fridge.

I also use the Bayer systemic stuff (here they call it Confidor) when I water my plants first time in Spring, and last time before they go to sleep and I spray them with the same stuff. About a month ago, when I did that, the next day, on some Ferocactus, I saw an uncredible amount of semi-dead bugs...

For several years, at winter, I keep mines in the veranda, no heater except on unusually cold winters. It happens that the temperature drops as low as 2-3°C for a few hours. I have not lost any.
