I started out growing and collecting cacti. But I quickly found that other xeric plants attracted my attention. So I started collecting succulents. I normally tried to avoid putting more than one cactus in a bowl as I found that many of them had very specific watering requirements and that a good number of them were not compatible.
But succulents (the general term here to denote NOT cacti) seem to be a little more tolerant. So, in order to create something resembling attractive, I started putting succulents in a concrete bowl that I created myself.
I've created some topics in the Members section entitled "Growth Over Time". Thinking to do something similar here, I'm going to post two pictures of each of the succulents in my bowl. The way it was when I first got it, and what it looks like today.
If you like this, let me know. I'll do some more. If you DON'T like this ... let me know. There's no point sitting up making my back hurt to do something no one is interested in.
I've cut this short. the system is causing me great problems with duplicating pictures or deleting them or both.
Let me know what you think.

Re: My Succulent Bowl
The Crassula perforata var variegata pictures got switched around ... with todays BEFORE what it looked like when i first got it. There's only one picture of the Corpulascaria lehmanii and only one picture of the "Tillandsia on Driftwood". I didn't DARE edit the post, out of fear that it would have deleted all my pictures AGAIN and I would have to start all over AGAIN. Sorry for the inconvenience folks.

Looks nice. I also thought that will be hard or inappropriate to keep several species in one bowl and all mine are separated. But maybe if you have the proper light conditions and take adequate care about all of them you will succeed with this. Keep showing us photos.
If your cacti mess in your job just forget about the job.

I've often tried to combine several plants but the pot always ends up looking horrible. I have absolutely no taste in such things. I've seen very beautiful stagings and people doing mini landscapes such as mmcavall. They turn out so beautiful and so do yours wayne.
There are more cacti in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy.
