Hello everyone,
I have a couple specimens of the large cerues type cacti (T. panchanoi, C. peruvianus). I unfortunately can not plant them in the ground for various reasons. I was woundering if there is a minimum pot size that they should be kept in. Also if kept in pots and relatively small do they still mature? In other words if kept in a pot will a relatively small but older plant still flower?
Thanks for any help!
Brian
Large Cerues cacti in pots
Re: Large Cerues cacti in pots
Ive seen very large cerei (peruvianus and others-2 metres tall, multi branch) in greece and blooming trchocerei(lynn, desert gardens of avalon) keep them in what seems to about 2 feet wide pots. They bloom and everything. But you should change soils from time to time, and prune if needed.
