I've found them growing in some of my columnar pots and I've had mushrooms appear in some overwatered plant's pots. Not recently though mind you.

I wasn't making a guess. It is NOT spider eggs, insect eggs, or any other animal eggs. As I said, it is a common harmless fungus I see regularly under my pots.

You've answered a couple of my posts ... it is obvious at this point that you are quite knowledgeable. Thanks everso for your time. You've put my mind at rest. I was truly afraid they MIGHT have infested something else and that the "eggs" would have hatched into something noxious!
