Hello everyone,
My great grandad's cactus is looking abit peaky and yellow in places,
Someone on the forum thought that it was a Gymnocalycium baldianum.
Does anybody have any tips to get it looking ship shape again?
Thanks! : )

Making cactus well. When one of my babies gets sick, I dig it up, wash it in vitamin B1, clean it, and plant it in a pot with a 50% limestone, 50% soil. (Sweet Soil) I shove it under a tree, weed or yucca. It almost never fails to brighten up. I may replant it in the garden in a year or two.

Maybe just too root bound, needing a larger pot. First thing to do is take it out of the pot and inspect the roots (you could post a picture of them), check for root mealybugs (look like little blobs of fluff) or any other signs of problems. If the roots look healthy, but very crowded, it just needs a pot one size larger.
