Earthworms
I just need to know if earthworms are a problem in my potted cactus, but I saw red ants feeding on one of them. Are earthworms different from nematodes? I appreciate your time for helping me.Thanks

Re: Earthworms
Earthworms are nothing like nematodes, they are beneficial creatures that eat dead plant material and turn it into humus, also open drainage channels in the soil. They're not of benefit in your potted plants, but they won't do any damage.
I wonder what they're living on, though - maybe you have too much organic matter in your cactus soil.
