When I noticed the dark spots on the lower part of this Echinocereus inermis, I suspected something was wrong. Finally I dug him up and found very few (it had been in that pot for more than a year) and dark roots. I pretend to let him dry for some 4 days and then replant. Any other or better sugestions would be enormously welcome.

Better soil next time. And be patient, no point flooding it before it grows some new roots.
