Is this fungus or what?

Post by sundanz »

Two of my plants have turned brown in spots, Ferocactus setispinus and Chameocereus "Rose quartz". Is this fungus and how can I get rid of it?
Thanks

I'm suspecting sunburn, not sure though, did you relocate it recently? Or maybe there's a heatwave?

Not sure about the Ferocactus. Could be sunburn. Looks quite old, or did this just appear? Could be freeze damage if it happened over winter.

On the second one, check for mites.
