A few minor issues
First off this cactus had been leaning since I poted it (top heavy) and the area turned very root ball like with these red scabs normal for a leaning cactus or sinister forces at work.second on this parodia what's this look like to you it didn't run off so it likely isn't scale or meallys maybe normal coloration?
