Mammillaria bocasana swollen
Is this normal? I use flash on camera to better see the swollen cactus.

Looks OK. Roots must be working and it has sucked up the water

It's normal for cacti to shrink some during the dormant season, then swell up again when they get water in the spring. You may not realize how much they've shrunken because it happens gradually - when they swell up again it happens much more quickly, the effect can be quite startling.
