What is this on my cactus?

Can anyone tell me what this is and if I should be worried? Sorry about the dirt, some animals thought it would be fun to dig in my pot

That looks to me like "corking", which is often found in older specimens, especially those collected from the wild.
There is nothing to worry about, unless you notice either a softening around the affected parts or a spread of the lesions, by either them enlarging or additional ones showing up. Then you most likely do have some kind of pathogen involved.
