Scab forming on Peyote (lophophora williamsii)

Post by spacemonkey426 »

Hey everyone, my peyote cluster that i have had for a few months now has formed what looks like a pale scab on it's surface and between the cracks. Does anyone know what could have caused this or how i can help it? I have been keeping with the rest of my cacti including another peyote that has not had this problem. i think i could have over watered it a while back but this was a month or so before the scab appeared. Thanks for reading and please see pictures attached.

Have you seen the mites? No need to do anything if they're gone already.
