What is this??? Help
What is going on W my cactai? All of the sudden there is a discolored patch on my beavertail...and those small seedlike things are all over my thimble cactus. What is going on?

It seems to be able to "scrape off" how can I safely remove it?

The seed-like things look an awful lot like seeds, but I can't be sure from that photo.
The white patch looks like sunburn.
