Help With Cobweb Buttons Sempervivum!

Post by SucculentLover11 »

Please Note: I usually only water when the top of the soil is looking dried out, as recommended by some succulent care guides I have previously read.

I got my Cobweb Button back in May and it looked like this:

I recently went on vacation from June 24 and came back on July 7 to find the Cobweb Button's soil dry and the Cobweb Button itself not looking its best. I watered the soil a little bit to get the soil damp again and have tried sticking the Cobweb Button outside to enjoy our warm summer heat of 80 & 90 degree weather (My succulents are normally indoor succulents).

As of yesterday evening, this is what the Cobweb Button looked like:

(Before leaving for my vacation, the Cobweb Button had grown a good amount and had its cobwebs fully surrounding the main section of the plant.

My Silver King Sempervivum was also left with the Cobweb Button during the duration of my vacation and also had dry soil when I returned. It currently seems to be doing just fine as of yesterday evening (as seen below)

I don't want my Cobweb Button to die so are there any suggestions to help perk it back up and keep it thriving, or does it look like a lost cause?
*It has wilted/shriveled up a bit underneath and has started to feel soft & fragile

Looks like a serious lack of light. The first one might also be rotting, hard to tell.
