First time cacti owner,p with no clue what's happening! Help

Post by annabelgoddard »

one of my cacti (no idea of type of cacti to be honest) is turning yellow and some little bits are dropping off. For a while before it has been drooping too. I can't see any rot and its drooping all over. I'm sorry I can't give any more information, I literally don't know much else. I haven't been watering often either, am I not watering enough do you think?

Not lack of water, that would make the stems shrink. Mite damage would be my guess - Peanut Cactus is very susceptible to red spider mites.
