Please help!
This is a picture of roots of Harrisia sp in my house. It looks so fat to me.
Is this normal? Or is this caused by nematodes or crown gall? What should I do?Should I cut off?
Thank you for understanding my poor English.

This is "Sankaku-sode" in Japanese. And it is in common use as a root stock in Japan.
"Sankaku-sode" has higher fertility than Harrisia jusbertii and resists cold harder than Hylocereus guatemalensis.
And it is said to be hybrid of Harrisia pomanensis or Harrisia Jusberti.

I don't have experience with growing Harrisia but those look like tuberous roots. They don't look diseased.

Thank you for your information.
So I try to grow without treatment. And next year I will report what became of this.

FYI, Harrisia normally has tuberous roots. I've read that in Australia these really is a problem because Harrisia an invasive species. Australian publications that talk about getting rid of cacti, note that you simply can't get rid of Harrisia simply cutting the plant above ground. You have to get the tuberous roots as well.
