White 'bumps' on Myrtillocactus geometrizans
Just recently this M. geometrizans developed these white 'bumps' that resemble large pustules (if it were human skin). They don't seem to be scale. They are hard but don't appear to be adversely affecting the cactus as a whole. Can these develop normally on this genus/species, or is it something that needs attention? It has spent the last two summers outdoors, but the several years of its previous life were indoors.
Catch a falling star--but don't try it with a cactus!

Possibly scale bugs. Might want to use a pesticide to get rid of them.
And as the walls come down and as I look in your eyes
My fear begins to fade recalling all of the times
I have died and will die.
It's all right.
I dont mind
I dont mind.

If there aren't too many, you could just scrape them off.
