The plants I placed in my balcony have been attacked by birds. They broke all the stems of my Euphorbia hedyotoides (only the caudex remained). They tore a chunk off my Parodia magnifica and 'Un Pico', pecked a hole on my Tephrocactus and ate half off my Austrocylindropuntia subulata's stem.
What would be the most effective way to scare them away? Are metallic tape, pinwheels effective?

Re: Birds
Sounds like you'll need to protect them with some type of bird netting.
