Hello!
I live in Dallas, TX. Something has been ravaging my poor succulents on the porch, and I am having the hardest time figuring out what it is! I have been treating them for scale-
about 2 months with liberal amounts of 71% rubbing alcohol and it's not going away. I haven't seen any pests, but the plants are getting these blisters, black spots, and deformed/scarred leaves. Please help!!

Re: Mysterious Ailment!
I think you are seeing the scars of damage incurred a while ago.
At least part of the problem may be thrips attacking the growing points when they are very young - this results in unsightly scars as the leaves develop to full size.

I never thought about thrips!! I've done a bit of research on them and it sure seems like a part of the problem. Do you suggest any kinds of treatment? I might also try a fungicide. If you have any recommendations, please let me know!
Thank you!!
