I have these small grey-white highly mobile insects inside my cacti's soil. They are less than a millimiter. Am i looking at root mealybugs?
I knce had an infection and removed it with hot water. For this spread i guess i need s systemic insecticide

I think that they are collembolas (fairly harmless arthropods).
Do they jump when you disturb them?
They often live in the bottom of pots and in humid places.

Thanks for your help.
I read that they are completely harmless but i like my plants plants clean. I guess I'll skip a watering and the heat will take care of them.
