Hello! I’m gabriela, 41, Brazilian living in Sweden for many years now. Lived in USA and Canada. Miss the sun and my plants, and have struggled here to keep my mesembs alive. Cheers!

Just a little late but welcome, välkommen! Nice to know there is another person in this forum living pretty close to me :D Neighboring country. It is pretty hard keeping plants such cacti alive in a dark country, isn't it  So much artificial light is needed during winter.
May I ask, for all places, how did you end up living in Sweden?

Hello Gabriela,
welcome to the CactiGuide cactus and succulent forum. Well, you did just the opposite of what I accomplished! I moved from northern Germany to the desert city of El Paso, Texas. You are in Sweden even further north and will most likely need a nice south-facing windowsill and in winter artificial illumination to keep your plants looking healthy.
