Greetings from Arizona

Post by Wharf Rat »

Hello from Coolidge Arizona..smack dab in the middle between Phoenix and Tuscon. Just got into cacti and succulents last year. Have a small pot outside with a hawthorne aloe, a hens and chick and something that my neighbor gave me. Just took down a 30 gallon aquarium and am going to try my hand at a cacti / succulent garden in the house. Ok thats about it for now.
Yak at y'all later.

Hello and welcome from another member of the desert Southwest. I hope, that you are going to enjoy this forum and will be able to contribute some digital images in the future.
With the climate you have in Coolidge, you can grow quite an assortment of cacti out in your yard. Of course, if the inside of your house Is bright enough, you should be able to grow even more kinds of cacti and succulents. However, an aquarium would not be the best container, but it would be interesting to find out, how the plants fare in that environment.
