I just got through looking at a bunch of pictures of this plant through a Google search. And very many of them do not look like the picture that you have posted. What appealed to me was the little short fat segments with the dark colored edges. And about three quarters of the pictures that I'm seeing through a Google search do not have the short fat segments (longer segments and not quite so fat) and they do not have the dark colored edges. Is there a subspecies to the specimen that you have?

And thanks again for the name. You started me off in a relatively new Direction. I have a couple of euphorbias, and will not object to acquiring one more.

Good evening dear cacti friends,

the season is over. . .
And the new season is still a very tender little plant. . .
What should I show now?
I will show photos of days that were not yet an issue.
Days that mean something to me, like the 14th of July (2017).

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha... VERY funny. And yet once again some of the most astonishing, the most astounding pictures I have ever seen. Do you by any chance sell any of your cacti?

The Astrophytums in picture bild1408.jpg (particularly appeals to me.

Your plants all look so happy!
I have to ask, who is the chap in 170559 and what's going on with the reddish growths?

PS do you accept day requests? As in what pictures did you take on April 1st?

It could be a mammillaria sheldonii :-k the reddish growth is a fruit/seedpod
