My collection

Post by stefan m. »

So ive had most of these plants for years , and i decided its time to show them.
To start off, my seedlings(sown September 2017
They have various , including various types among the families of Cacteae, notocactea, trihocereae, and others , including pereskia, tylecodon, yucca baccata , dasylrion, etc. Overall success rate has been ~67 percent, 85 among cacti. Sadly i forgot to label them, so most successes will be a mystery until spring when they are old enough to ID.

Some kind of ferox and the like- iding spiky aloes(ferox, marlothi, aculeata , africana ,excelsa etc) is not really my strong suit.
All i can say for certain is that spiky aloes are shrub or tree like, and grown slowly. In addition, numerous hybrids exist and wholesalers dont realy label plants. ( we would have cacti and succulent id if they did)
Only aloes im certain(or relatively certain of ) are
brevifolia
broomi
cristmas carol(red one)
vera
arborescens
plicatilis seedling
and i got +35 aloe like plants.

Interesting succulents!
Sedum could be palmerii
Sprawling aloe could be juvenna
And the haworthia fasciata is actually haworthia (now haworthiopsis) attenuata. Fasciata is rare in cultivation and doesn't have any sort of markings on the inner side of the leaves.
