I think, that is Mammillaria grahamii or microcarpa

Very nice pictures have you been to Sonoita AZ ? Southern AZ reminds me of S CA except rainfall is different. Oak trees and grass, mountains.

Have you walked long time there to find and shot these plants or it was easy this time? You must know the exact places they grow in.
If your cacti mess in your job just forget about the job.

Hi!

I didn't know the exact locations of the plants. I would say, that I knew the approximate area where they are growing. Sometimes you just have to be lucky.

I was down there around Sierra Vista, Nogales and took the Ruby Road, where I found M.macdougallii and Cory.recurvata.

Nice finds, Zoltan! Lot of plants and blooms for one trip.

That Opuntia (IMG_7573 and around) should be O. aurea with variants.
If your cacti mess in your job just forget about the job.

The cactus shown in image 3035 is a Mammillaria grahamii.
