Pouring rain here this AM ... made this an easy assignment. Have to go dry off the camera and lens now :)

A little early for mine to get wet yet, but one ore two wakeup sprinklers they can get. This one big Fero that I've got :)
A funny thing. When the flash hits the point of the hook it turns into a optic cable :lol:

Hatiora salicornioides - I thought it fascinating that this shows how each knob is made for holding a drop of water, in addition to the water absorbed on the surface. Also, each drop is like a lens showing a tiny image of the plant...

A preceding rain brought out the magnificent spine coloration of my Ferocactus latispinus.
