sorry, long day...didn't see the instructions right above my own post on how to post an image, golly.

Anyway, here's the stick insect on the base of Peniocereus johnsonii...O. basilaris, Echinocereus nivosus and E. triglochidiatus v. mojavensis also in the shot.

No, sorry Peter that didn't work...

Here 'tis.

Just in case you're not sure how, ...when you paste the URL for your picture into your message, just hi-light the URL and then click on the 'Img' button at the top of the message screen, and that should do it. (If you are linking to a web-page do the same only click the URL button).

BTW, I love stick insects, nice cacti too. Triglochidiatus is one of my favourite Echinocereus.

Thanks for sharing! My daughter rescuded on of those from our swimming pool this weekend only it was a tiny one less than an inch long.

Lots of bugs this year in Southern California!

by the way I edited your message for you so the picture would show. You missed the first part of the tag.

Here is what was there:

I added the [img] to the front to make it work. This is how it should look:

You were very close!

Yep, we have walking sticks around here also but my favorite insect is the Praying Mantis.
