wow, definitely one of the prettiest flowers I've seen so far!

I'd keep a close eye on it. Those flowers look suspiciously like those funky tulips whose weird blooms are caused by a virus. They will actually infect other tulips and make them the same way. I like this a lot, but I wouldn't want my entire collection to turn out that way.

Not to be a debbie downer :wink: It is very nice and I hope nothing unfortunate happens.

Thanks everyone,
This is one of 2 seedlings both labelled as Parodia mammulosa, no ssp or other names. These come from an old man in my neighbourhood where I got my first plants from. He infected me with the cacti virus and maybe he gave me a infected cactus, Wallydraigle. But I never heard of such a virus in cacti. It has never infected the others anyway. This is the other one.

That's incredible! I've never seen a flower like that on a Parodia before.
All Cacti are succulents, but not all succulents are Cacti
