Spring has Sprung (in the Southern Hemisphere)

Post by doctor289 »

Well they're not cacti but thought this would do for my return to the forum after a long absence.

Naturally half rotted out willow trunk purchased from a local guy who collects and sells funky tree stumps for gardens, rustic furniture and so on.

Some strategic use of chunks of osmunda, the odd nail and some wire and here we are.

Cats think I have ruined their new scratching post.

Cacti are also coming to life and got a 90mm macro lens so going to do a photographic catalogue of the collection and will post the best.

Nice! You did a great job.
Thirsty for knowledge. Please water me more than your cactus!

Looks real good! Great that you can grow such Borelias (are they?) outside. Couldn't dream of it here.

Looks good but not sure glueing a cat on there is a good idea.

No animals were harmed in the making of this feature.

The cat (Carmelita from the Warren Zevon song) was free to go any time she pleased.
