yup. And it ensures that what you are sending will arrive safely and be viable. If you take them too early they can die :(

Was anything I sent you squashed. You had no complaints of damage i took that as a good thing.

no, nothing was damaged, except I got some glochids for my trouble unpacking, but I will not complain about that, as that is part of the deal and was expected.
Everyone hates glochids, I just find them annoying lol

I did have one casualty, sorry to say. The Opuntia elisiana didn't make it. It turned black and floppy, I was a little worried about it before it seemed a funky color, and sure enough it turned black. It's fine.. I understand, stuff happens. :)

I have potted about 10 of them before the dang cat drove me nuts. I am going to get them all started in pots them put them in ground.. for those that are going, save the O. ficus-indica. Will work on them more tomorrow. :)

I thought the ellisiana was ready but I think I cut those too early. Even mine are rotting. I won't cut those so soon from now on. I do find when they start to rot like that that you just throw it on the ground somewhere in a shady spot and it might keep enough green to sprout offshoots.

yeah it's in my compost heap, which is in the shade.. see what happens.. IT's ok like I said crap happens.
