Yes, there are certainly a number of spammers, but not the ones we delete. There also seems to be a number of users that sign up, but don't post. I think some forums you can't even read unless you are signed in.

So the number of users isn't as significant as it ought to be.

And I must say "Congrats, Daiv!" - should be congrats to all because this forum is clearly a community effort and I am a cog in the machine. I learn from everyone else more than I put in!

Daiv, you may "learn more than you put in" but it was you that set up the friendly and accepting atmosphere of this place. Lots of forums thrive on flamewars, bullying noobies and general nastiness - but not here. If I can mix my metaphors, it may be taking a villiage to raise this baby but I think you're entitled to at least a brief, personal, victory dance in the endzone.
