Hi all
So almost 10 years to the day I posted on cactiguide for help with a cactus that had become infected. At the time it was my pride and joy and something I had lovingly looked after for +5 years before the "infection".
To this day I never did know what caused the wound and infection however from advice on this forum I cut out the infection, treated with sealant and kept loving the plant. I enclose a snap of the post of the cactus back then....
And here is the cactus 10 years on growing well! The 'scar' is still there but it shows its resilience!
Thanks to Davi and a chap called Bill Bristow who helped my cactus live!
Hope this is of interest strange how time flies!
One question though - does anybody know how I can stop it growing any more?? It's nearly at ceiling height!
Thanks all!
Jim
(Ps glad to see the file attachment has been improved!)
Whoa, nearly 10 years to the day!!
