very nice, thanks for the pic! i often remove the offsets as well, but once they reach a certain size they start leaving ugly scars which i dont like. i have 2 that i am picking like pimples on a 14 year old, but the rest i tend to leave to clump away
how old is yours? looks great!
I guess this is why its better to post on the forum than on external hosting sites, because the photos are no longer available for people to view,
I have a lot of Lophophora caci that I have grown from seeds.
What do you thing are all cacti on my pictures Lophophora williamsii ? The flowers on picture 2 looks a bit to white on the picture, in reality the color is the same as the other.
Nachtkrabb thanks!
The big one in the picture was one of my first cacti. When it flowered (took a couple of years) I was surprised, had never seen a cactus flower before.
It even produced seeds, think that started my cacti interest.
Hi olof_n, this is a nice story going well with the plants. Yes, the big one looks like well kept for quite some years.
I love them, too. Mine has flowered this year for the first time after some years of 'nothing'. But it did it so in secrecy that I didn't see it, what a pity.
Not sure what Lophophora exactly it is, please ID if possible, thank you.
This is my Lophophora which I grafted on top of Myrtillocactus Geometrizans. When I got it last summer as a gift, I managed to sunburn it first, soon after overwatered it, which almost killed the plant. It somehow recovered during the winter, and in March this year I decided to try to graft it in an (so far successful) attempt to save it.
