These are really pretty. I especially like the last one

Fishhook cacti are like cats, they only like to be petted in one direction

I'm curious how many "bad" hybrids you go through to find each good one

Maybe 50% or more are not very special, you can select the best plants but not always the seedlings are amazing, sometimes very good, sometimes normal, but it is part of the game :)

Very interesting. I'm realizing that despite having a lot of hybrid succulents I really don't know anything about where they come from. Always seemed like it must be some mysterious process beyond my grasp...
