Cactus rotting in the middle

Hi guys my beautiful Trichocereus pachanoi after dormancy period has got white rotting areas in the middle of tubercle and skin colour changes close to it.

Once I had an issue you helped with when cactus was very strange at the bottom https://www.cactiguide.com/forum/viewto ... 96#p358596 You had shared great peace of advice back then and I didn't cut the cactus. Maybe this situation is similar and it's possible to save the plant?

Should I cut it? Is it difficult to grow this type after cutting?

I think it's fine. Rot should have darker colors. Is it firm?

This kind of chlorosis could be caused by a virus or perhaps it could be also a nutrient deficiency. Either problem would not be fatal.
Because there is not much that can be done about a virus, I would suggest feeding the cactus with a complete fertilizer at 1/3 to 1/2 the recommended strength.

I've checked. It's as firm as health part of the tubercle. I'm going to proceed with your advices. Post an update soon.

It seems that the discoloration creeps from bottom to up

What are the organic parts of your substrate?

I use regular substance for cacti from the shop (ph 6.0-7.0, mostly torf, small amount of send, small amount of perlit) as 0.5 + 0.3 sand + 0.2 crashed stones. To be honest it's the best of what I can found at local shops

If you read this link below, you will find that some manure does contain bacteria which will discolor your cactus

With the start of growing seasson green guy started growing wery well, spots are still present, but he grew half of it's size and had great spines.
This year dormancy everything was going pretty good till now. One more time at the end of dormancy appeared spots on the new parts closer to spines. I'll attach images.

My assumption I was doing something wrong during dormancy for that cactus, it became very wick at the end of dormancy and all that stuff with spots started. Then with start of growing season I'll start adding fertilizer as hegar mentioned above and cactus kind of heals itself and starts growing well.

I've read about T. Pachanoi that they are easy to grow, are not afraid of cold temperatures in winter (usually mine are 8C - 13C). I didn't water it for 5 months. Also I've changed the soil similar to what Dave provided in topic on home page of a site. Regularly fertilized during growing season.

Any help would be appriciated.
