Greetings from up North

Post by hermesTris »

Hello fellow Cactus and Succulent lovers. I guess I'm a bit of a masochist because I love trying to grow plants in places where there's no way those plants would survive on their own. I got started growing plants when a family member gave me a small coffee tree as I gift and very quickly I moved on to cacti and succulents because they could be easily moved around with me. I try to stick to smaller species or plants grown from seed that I can keep under a grow light in the winter. I'm sure I'm relatively new to this compared to some people here but I am looking forward to learning and asking for advice. I hope I can also give some advice because lord knows I've failed and learned from my experiences over the past few years.

Greetings from Nottingham, UK. There is quite a strong Cactus & Succulent hobby in the UK.

A couple of sites you may find interesting for information.

https://society.bcss.org.uk/

Cactus and Succulent Mall, It has links (some now dead) to most things in the hobby worldwide, not just UK.
