2 new Mammillaria's.
Re: 2 new Mammillaria's.
I like the M. morentiniana. Lovely contrast of the red centrals with white radials.
Hah!please, no more crinita
Re: 2 new Mammillaria's.
Don't worry somebody will inevitably dump many into synonymy!
Re: 2 new Mammillaria's.
I am happy with my M. zeilmanniana plants. No need to collect more similar species.
But Mexicans are free to discover as many new species as they can down there.

Re: 2 new Mammillaria's.
They are already available, I saw them being offered for the first time (that I know of) last autumn through the Czech seed sellers. But you have to pay for it. I suspect the price will remain high for quite some years...
Re: 2 new Mammillaria's.
Mammillaria breviplumosa looks like Mammillaria sanchez-mejoradae which grows slow and somewhat hard to propagate . It is a nice looking little plant
Re: 2 new Mammillaria's.
Yes I lost my grafted Mammillaria sanchez-mejoradae below. As you say its a very attractive plant. M. breviplumosa looks a lot denser spined though and presumably the spines are plumose = feather like?
