Hello! I would like to verify the identity of the following cacti that I bought without any identifications. Thank very much in advance! DM
Here are my guesses:
1. Opuntia decumbens
2. Opuntia monocantha
3. It looks like Mammillaria sempervivi but I am not sure
Two Opuntia and one Mammillaria
Two Opuntia and one Mammillaria

3 M karwinskiana/nejapensis
Re: Two Opuntia and one Mammillaria
Thank you very much! I have Mammillaria that was sold as M. nejapensis and it looks somewhat different. Could you please check it on the photo below. Are they that variable or this is a different species? Thanks ahead, DM

Re: Two Opuntia and one Mammillaria
Agreed, that last one is M. pringlei - or, as the lumpers would have it, M. rhodantha ssp. pringlei: http://www.llifle.com/Encyclopedia/CACT ... ._pringlei
It's a very distinctive and very popular cactus, I can't understand how they misidentified it.

Many thanks for your identifications! Will have to double check everything I bought here at a local store.
