Hey Bob,
As you can tell from the link above, I thought that would be some good data to add to this site. I would be happy to link to places that are recommended. I am very selective about who I link to especially because I do not do any of this for money.
So if there are some good sites out there anybody, let me know and I'll give them a link.

Cactus nursery
Hi Daiv,
For those cactophiles in Europe there is a very good nursery in Italy called Cactus Art. Even for those who cannot get plants from there it has some excellent photographs. I am in the process of helping Valentino the owner to correct some of his English translation. The plants I have had from there have been excellent. Check it out there is lots of information and advice.

Online Cacti
My personal recomendation would be Miles2Go located in Tucson, AZ. While I haven't ordered from him online I think Miles has an excellent website. I've been to his nursery and picked a number of nice cacti. His nursery is quite impressive not so much for it's size, because I've been to larger ones, but his selection of rare hard to find cacti is outstanding and healthy. http://www.miles2go.com/
Howdy,
Here is my favorite place for cacti, even though I have not bought from there! But I've been there and they do a lot of research, propogation of endangered species, and all kinds of groovy, xeric landscaping things and a vast dissemination of knowledge:
The Chihuahuan Desert Research Institute in Fort Davis, Texas:
http://cdri.org
Every year they have an "annual plant sale". Here is the current page for the upcoming event:
http://cdri.org/Plant%20Sale/index.html
Members to CDRI get an early-bird, Members-Only sale invitation.
Those of you not familiar with the Chihuahuan Desert, it is the desert with the most cactus species, by far! Including Lophophora, Opuntia rufida (blind prickly pear), O. violacea and santarita, Astrophytum asterias, Ariocarpus fissuratus (living rock)... I could go on and on!!!
The Chihuahuan Desert encompasses West and SW Texas, central and the southern half of New Mexico, and the se corner of Arizona, into the Mexican states of Chihuahua (duh), Durango, Coahuila, Nuevo Leon, Aguascalientes, northern San Luis Potosi, Zacatecas... oh heck, link to map:

OK,
cheers!
