Cactus fruit?

Does the Cleistocactus winteri produce edible fruit? The best I could find on a search was a general 'Cactus fruit are usually edible'.

I don't think any cacti are actually toxic, but not killing you and tasting good are on oposite ends of the spectrum. Come to think of it I don't recall ever seeing fruit on any cleistocactus. They may be dependant on a specific insect for pollination, but I am only guessing at that.
