I graft to fresh cut unrooted s. Grandiflorus
I like the results also.
Although very rooted short tip cuttings are the best for fast natural looking growth of most types ive tried.

Re: Grafting to Selenicereus
I am impressed, an amazing collection of grafts!
Now I want some Selenicereus.
I have a question, is it any big difference between Pteranthus and Grandiflorus?
Grandiflorus seeds seem more common than Pteranthus.
I can also buy a Grandiflorus cutting but don't know if it is ok to send it by mail now when it's winter and the temperature getting low.

Re: Grafting to Selenicereus
I have not noticed much of a difference between pteranthus and grandifloras. I have used both. But generally use pteranthus more often since I was able to purchase 100 decent sized rootstocks very cheap so most of my rootstock is pteranthus.
